Do you know the Suggereix project on reclaimed water?

The Suggereix project's main objective is contributing knowledge that allows improving and replicating reclaimed water management strategies. The project is led by the Eureca technology center and has the participation of the Catalan Water Partnership, the Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA), the Cetaqua research center and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

These entities will work together on various aspects of the reuse of reclaimed water such as the performance of reuse schemes, environmental impact, risk analysis methodologies or the most innovative technologies that can be applied in this regard.

The project will have 3 demosites that will be the water treatment plant in Sant Joan Despí, the treatment plant in Tossa de Mar and the Hotel Samba in Lloret de Mar, which has previously collaborated in other projects on water regeneration and reuse. The project is financed by the Catalan Water Agency, which has been the driving force behind the initiative.
